Istanbul, Turkey

This was my second time visiting Istanbul and I enjoyed it more than the first (namely because I am older and can do whatever I want). I met Kashif here and it is great to see a familiar face from back home. Things have gotten much more expensive here than 8 years ago and I suppose it is a good thing, reflecting the economic growth of this country, but it makes things harder for me :). The Roman buildings here seem to be in much better condition than in Rome itself. Tomorrow we shall go to the interior of Turkey - somewhere I have never been.
