This final post of the series is relatively short as I cannot possibly showcase all the kinds of foods one can find in Singapore - a truly foodie nation. All flavours of the world can be found here (albeit a bit short on African cuisine), in addition to the many dishes unique to the Malay peninsula as a result of historic migrations of peoples and the melting together of cultures (and their cuisines), most notably the Peranakans.
Ironically, there is a very popular dish known as Singapore noodles, which I ate regularly during my studies in Toronto, which in fact is not Singaporean at all, but rather invented by a chef in Hong Kong inspired by Singapore's multiculturalism.
Anyway, here are a few photos of my favourite meals during the 563 days here.
