Despite being a small country with one of the highest population densities in the world, Singapore has a great deal of biodiversity across both flora and fauna. This is partially due to the abundance of parks, wildlife reserves and park connectors.
My post can't do this topic justice, as I just took some random photos as I walked around the main island. If this is an area of further interest, Sir David Attenborough narrated a great series on this called 'Wild City'.
Anyway, here are some interesting plants and animals I saw over the course of my 536 days grounded in Singapore, including raising some lime butterflies myself.
