Singapore III (02/25/2013-02/27/2013)

You might have noticed that I've been using the pro-noun 'we' a little more often in my posts. There's a reason for that, and the next few posts are related to some of the sights we saw as a result of becoming officially 'we' and celebrations thereafter.

We used Singapore as a transit point for said celebrations, but saw enough new things in Singapore to warrant a new post, despite having blogged twice about it in the past. Specifically, a tremendous amount of new development including the Marina Bay Sands complex, Sentosa, and the Gardens by the Bay (that include some odd UFO-like structures that they call 'supertrees'). In addition to this, despite having gone to durian markets, tried various kinds of street food, I still hadn't tried Singapore's signature crab dishes (chilli crab and pepper crab), which were especially amazing given I'm just not really into crab.

It's an interesting place, and I wish I had an extended period of time to get to know it better, as I feel like it really wouldn't be a bad place to live (despite having not so nice neighbours).
