Misc. Travel in 2018

2018 marked a major transition in my life - from corporate to entrepreneur, and one would expect less travel under normal circumstances, however not in my case.

Here are some highlights that didn't merit their own posts.

Manila, Philippines (January, May, October)

Seeing the extreme contrasts, and enjoying some great food in the process.

Dubai, UAE (February)

Work, catching up with friends, and layovers for the regional trips that warranted their own posts.

Taipei, Taiwan (May, July, August)

Continuing to enjoy using Taiwan as a layover stop when travelling longer distances

Istanbul Airport Lounge, Turkey (June)

Really, the most amazing airline lounge in the world - freshly baked bread, kebab stands, and the most extensive olive collection I've ever seen. It needs a 6 hour layover to do it justice.

Ontario, Canada (July)

Almost enough photos to warrant its own post, but considering it's close to where I grew up, probably doesn't count.

Barcelona, Spain (October)

Another conference to attend here, and saw a few places I missed in June.

Bangkok, Thailand (October)

Absolutely love the art and design in Bangkok and being there for Halloween was a real treat.

Jakarta, Indonesia (November)

I was lucky to have been invited for a party here. The bottom photo was the last thing I'd expect to see in an airport - a welcome change.
