Misc. Travel in 2016 - Part I

2016 was a busy year - a lot of travel related to work, but made a real effort to get out of the hotel room and explore my surroundings.  As such, I took quite a few more photos than last year, and thought I might share some of the more interesting ones.  While insufficient to warrant their own blog posts, they are numerous enough to split the post into two.

Taipei, Taiwan (January)

Lucky enough to both take the Hello Kitty Eva Air flight, as well as land just as the DPP won the election.

London, UK (February)

First experience visiting a private club (thanks to an old classmate), as well as revisiting Camden market since the fire.

Bali, Indonesia (May)

Japan (May, June)

Two separate trips - had the chance to do some cheesy things in Tokyo (going 'back in time' at Odaiba Oedo Onsen, as well as visit the Robot Restaurant), eat amazing food, and relax in a remote onsen in Tochigi prefecture as well as in Hitachi Seaside Park (which by a stroke of misfortune had almost no flowers!)

Seoul, Korea (May)

Beijing, China (August, November)

Both visits, blue skies!

Moscow (August)

A quick layover and an opportunity to enjoy some classic Russian food and songs
